Once Upon a Time

Wednesday, June 11, 2008

Cookson Hills is trying to set up an on-site medical clinic out of the old parsonage for people to use. There is a lot of work that has to be done on it though. So, early this morning I “set nails” into molding around the bottom of a wall. I then used “spakling” on the molding to cover the holes.

After setting nails and spakling, I used a POWER TOOL! Although I was just screwing in a paper towel holder, I still thought it was cool to use one.

During the afternoon I filled up a golf cart with boxes of soup cans and drove it to the senior center to unload—I made four trips. Soup cans get VERY heavy.

I got a care package from my parents today : ) The Once soundtrack was included in it=amazing music!

Well, Anna and I drove to Talequah today to shop for groceries. It was nice to leave Cookson for a little bit.

Our neighbors introduced us to their pets. Anna and Caesar got along quite well:

This is Sally

I love being outside at night. The weather is perfect, the sky is blue, and the air is fresh.

Our neighbor's daughter, Judy, showed me a flower she found.

I feel like I need to end with some sort of deep, intellectual though, but I think this what I've written will suffice for now. After all, it's late and I'm tired.
