If anyone is interested in donating money to the Cookson Hills Center, then this blog is for you!!
The Advance is an "accountable, designated giving arm of The United Methodist Church that ensures 100% of each gift is used for its intended mission or ministry."
Basically, if you donate money to a specific mission through The Advance, 100% of the money goes to that mission or missionary.
Ways You Can Give Money
Cookson Hills' Advance Number is 582161 and you can Make A Gift Online
Missionaries also have an Advance Numbers. Meri Whitaker's Advance Number is 982994 and you can Make A Gift Online for her as well.
This is probably the easiest way of donating money:
"Make your check payable to your local church. Write the name of the ministry and the Advance code number on the check. Drop your gift in any United Methodist church offering plate or give your gift to your church treasurer, so that your church and annual conference will get Advance credit."
I urge you to take the time to browse through some of the mission projects listed on The Advance website. There is a lot of awesome ministry happening in this world.
